Y-12 guards suspended over video devices [psp]
"Three guards have been suspended for bringing video game devices, including one with transmitting capability, into the heart of a high-security nuclear weapons plant.
Wackenhut Services spokeswoman Courtney Henry confirmed to 10News that the three security police officers were suspended without pay for an incident three weeks ago at the Department of Energy's Y-12 nuclear weapons plant in Oak Ridge.
She said the guards brought electronic game devices into the plant's "protected area" where warhead parts are made, dismantled and recycled. Not even cell phones are permitted there, yet one of the players was a portable Sony PlayStation with transmission capability.
Wackenhut has since issued new rules requiring that guards personal bags be checked before they are taken into the area."
I sure hope those brief rounds of Lumines were worth risking nuclear meltdown, noob guards.

Myst in NA July 16
Cyan World's classic adventure game is finally coming to North American PlayStation Portables this week, with Hoplite Research confirming a July 17th release of the game on the PlayStation Network.
The original Myst has seen countless rereleases and ports since it originally debuted back in 1993 as a showcase for the then-new CD Rom technology. Now the PSP is added to the list of video game devices that can play the game, with a faithful port of the game, with a little extra gameplay in the Rime Age, which was cut from the original release. While the PSP version has already been released in Europe and Japan, the North American version was canned...until now.

The Secret Government, A constitution in crises
I had planed on doing part two of how to use ps1 gamefaq saves but I thought I would post on our secret government (the usa) we are a great country there is no doubt about that but we have done many things that make me go WTF! what we do for our businesses interests not democracy. Look at (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covert_U.S._regime_change_actions) and see for yourselves. Watching the secret government which air in 1987 and what was said shocked me if you replace anti-communist with anti-terrorist “why to be anti-communist do we have to be undemocratic and why do we have to subvert our constitution in order to save us”

Using gamefaq dexdrive samesaves on ps1 psp eboot games PART ONE (of 2)
Installing CWcheats for gamefaq gamesaves to work
first install cwcheats from here http://cwcheat.consoleworld.org/ and then
exact using your typical decompressing software if you don’t have one i strongly recommend peazip (http://sourceforge.net/projects/peazip/) and then right click and go to extract here there is a folder called INSTALL. Inside there is another folder called "seplugins", and inside that one are several files and a directory called cwcheat. Copy the entire seplugins folder onto the root (very start) of your memory stick, so it should look something like this
The G:\ is the name of the drive your is probably different uless you have external hard drives/ flash drive plugged in it should be E:\
If you have a psp 1000 or 2000 NOT GEN-A 5.50 or 5.03
Now, turn your PSP completely off by holding the power switch up or removing the battery. Once the PSP has been completely turned off turn it back on while holding the R button. The "Recovery Menu" should pop up.
If you have GEN-A 5.50 or 5.03 and/or a PSP 3000 (like i do)
go to seplugins as seen in the screenshot and add game.txt and pops.txt (game.txt is optional for ps1 gamesaves as it is only for psp games no ps1 games)
add cwcheatpops.prx 1 to pops.txt and then press select to go to the vsh menu and then recovery mode and then cpu speed to make sure its enabled
Gamefaq and converting to .mcr
First download (http://www.aldostools.org/memcards.html) and then go to gamefaqs.com (find a game) and find PlayStation DexDrive
Save the file the file will be in .GME open Memory Cards Tools
click on the three dot button and then select the .GME and click the convert button the go to gamefaqs page where you got the game save click on data see the SLUS_ for us games save the gamesave as that game cd id and then –0
for example
SLUS_00748-0 and file type MUST BE ePSXe (*.mcr)

GTA IV adventures
<p><span class="aligncenter">Prelude/GTA:SA</span></p>
<p>When GTA:San Andreas came out I wasn’t expecting to get mostly because of it’s rating, but about 1-2 years ago I picked it up at about ten bucks at my local hastings store and found what GTA really was, an unrealistic graphicly fun adventure that blew me away, I hold this game as my second favorite game of all time, the first being Dues Ex. The reason that I like the game was the story, the cars and openness, and the cool cheats. Just so you know I am going to add kind of spoilers to GTA:SA right here but I presume if you have played GTA:SA if you wanted to. I liked the story in GTA:SA because it followed a character that went back to his friends and into the ‘gang’ lifestyle tried to make it better but some of his friends were betraying the ‘gang’ and he and his brother are forced out of the city. His brother goes to the joint and the corrupt police officers of the game sent CJ to a different city err.. spot. Over the coarse of the game after this point he rises to the ‘top’.</p>
<p><span class="aligncenter">GTA:IV what I hate about it</span></p>
<p>GTA:IV is a whole lot different, at first I didn’t like the game because of its realism and the lack of a plane, jetpack, or even a whole state, and I still hate what happens in the end, and I feel the standard for GTA games has dropped in my option. I liked the mayhem in SA and you felt like you were rising to the top with every mission after leaving the first part of the state with this it feels like your are just trying to survive and the motivation to do missions drooped a little.</p>
<p><span class="aligncenter">Single Player</span></p>
<p>I will go through a little bit of the single play, which I don’t think will be spoilers. As well all know Niko Bellic came from an unspecified war-torn Eastern European country, using a cargo ship meets up with Roman who said he had a mansion but you go to an apartment, you’ll soon find yourself in Broker and as always you can’t access the other two islands called Algonquin and Alderney. Similarly to GTA:SA you go into a clothing store and buy clothes. One thing I hate is that you don’t get a gun or a knife early on in the game, I mean sure you could use cheats but that isn’t as fun, instead you get a cell phone. Rockstar has said ‘This game is about relationships’ and you can take girlfriends out on a date, but you could do that in SA the only thing added was friends and choosing where to go before going on the date via a cell phone and the only thing different is that the are guys 'friends' and girls instead of just girlfriends. They added several choices in the game that are supposed to add an emotional impact aka “Not every action is supposed to make you feel happy, You can question it. It’s OK to question it—and play it a different way." The only emotion thing was the end in which somebody dies which upset me because Niko isn't really at the 'top' at the end.<br />
<span class="aligncenter"><br />
Multiplayer</span></p>
<p>As we all know their are fifteen modes in all, with three co-op modes, Hangmans NOOSE takes the least amount of time, and Deal Breaker taking the most, these modes I wont explain because that would spoil it. The mode that I play the most is Free Mode simply because I hang out with (psn:JohnDeLorean) and find glitches (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyjGp8ELsos ) and do random stuff. I am sure you all know what deathmatch and team deathmatch are, whats cool about these is that it can be all over liberty city or a specific island or spot like the prison. There is mafiya and team mafiya work in which you steal cars, kill targets, and escort targets. There is car jack city (with/without teams) in which you just steal cars and takes them places. Race which is like a normal race that you would see in any racing game, and then there is GTA Race which is that plus weapons. Turf war in which you fight for control of control points, this is a god awful game if there is only 4 people even on the smallest island bohan. My favorite competitive mode has got to be cop ‘n crooks it so much fun, its like the game cops ‘n robbers we played when we were young, but GTA style, you essentially have two groups one is trying to get a vehicle (crooks) and other is tying to kill the boss of the crooks to prevent their escape in all for one or in one for all the cops are all trying to esacape and their are no respawns for everyone.</p>
<p>(More) to be done… <br /></p>

Finished Metal Gear Solid 1 (PS1)
Some games don’t age that well but like dues ex and others this game is awesome even after 11 years this game is still fun, My first time I heard of MGS was when I was a teenager and my mom said no to MSG3 when MGS4 came out I absolutly loved it and when it came out on the psn store I got it and played (it beats paying 30-100 dollars from ebay or amazon:)

CWCheats psp fun
CWCheat is memory based cheat engine similar to tsearch and cheat engine on the pc. It is a PRX that runs under various custom firmware's and psp 3000 gen-a (which I have) and POPS (any ps1 game). It can use Action Replay and GameShark , Codebreaker.
I have been using it on MSG 1 (metal gear solid) and its pure fun especially walk through walls but you have to turn off cheats, there is a universal option to turn off/on all cheats at the main screen after you have held down select for a while, for certain spots including the elevator in the comm. tower oh and it works in online psp games (not that I use it for online games)

Ballju Weekly Info Center [week 1]
Introduction
As well as having a commentary on the playstation store update and a weekly what-songs-did-I-like-and-get list I decide to have a weekly article about helpful things. One thing that I noticed that most of the articles that visitors like you came for were info post so I decided to do more:)
Terminal Commands take 1
This is a list Terminal command that I use went I go-to-the-vampire-side called Terminal.
Command: drutil eject tray
What it does/Why I use it: This is very helpful when a disc is stuck in the tray and in the case osx it save the the user from having to restart and press the mouse button to eject the disc
Command: cd -
What it does/Why I use it: This changes to the previous working directory.
Command: lsof -i tcp:[number of port] example: lsof -i tcp:8080
What it does/Why I use it: This finds the process id holding on to a port. Very helpful when finding out if a port is in use.
Command: sudo !!
What it does/Why I use it: Run the last command as root.Useful when you forget to use sudo for a command. "!!" grabs the last run command.
Command:curl -u user:pass -d status="Tweeting from the shell" http://twitter.com/statuses/update.xml
What it does/Why I use it: Update twitter via curl, I know its not very useful but it is kind of fun to do:)

NVU and Aptana
the cool (open source) web compilers on the streets.
I admit that it is easy just to create a html file with text edit or notepad and make a web page, but what is cool about these apps is that that have specialized functions that those 2 two privative apps don't have.
NVU
the cool thing about nvu is that you can edit stuff from outside the source like a word processor for html and being able to copy tables and modify them outside of the source is refreshing. The code is in colors and you can preview it within the app.
Aptana
the cool thing about aptana is it acts just like a java IDE (it acts sort of like Netbeans). It also shows stuff in color. The thing that it doesn't have that I wish it had was previewing it within the app itself. It shows an outline of the code, which can be helpful if the html is long.
